Prayer to St Joseph, Protector of the Church.
Given current events, a salient message for these times:
Prayer to St. Joseph, Protector of the Church
'O glorious St Joseph, chosen by God to be the foster father of Jesus, the chaste spouse of Mary ever Virgin, and head of the Holy Family, and then appointed by the Vicar of Christ to be the heavenly patron and defender of the Church founded by Our Blessed Saviour, most confidently we ask your powerful help for the pilgrim Church.
Shield especially with your fatherly love all the bishops and priests in union with the See of Peter. Defend all who labour for souls amid the trials and tribulations of this life. May all the peoples of the earth willingly submit themselves to that Church which is the Ark of Salvation for all.
Good St Joseph, we ask you, by the burning love you had for Jesus and Mary on earth, to present our petition, in union with the Sacred Heart of Jesus and the Immaculate Heart of Mary, before the throne of God.
Amen.'
